Cookies and local storage — draft

HoofMapper currently uses browser local storage to remember demo workspace information and vehicle profiles. This is different from a conventional cookie, but similar storage technologies may be covered by UK privacy rules.

The map and third-party libraries can make requests to external services. We have not yet implemented Google Analytics, advertising tags or affiliate tracking. Do not enable non-essential analytics or marketing technologies until an appropriate consent mechanism is in place.
